Stories about Emma

This morning I dropped Emma off at daycare before going to work myself. The minute I set her down, a little boy, I think his name is Nathan, comes over to her. Today, he pushed her down. Emma just sat on the floor and cried a little bit. We're now trying to teach her to stand up for herself. Anyway, it turns out that this Nathan kid "likes" Emma. He calls her Nenna and is always around her when dropping her off and picking her up. I picked her up tonight and Nathan was there, following Emma around. I talked to Emma's toddler teacher and she stated the obvious by telling me Nathan likes Emma and even gives her hugs. Hugs that leave her on the ground crying. I laugh to myself just thinking about it. I don't know about Nathan, but Emma sure does love daycare. She now knows when we're going somewhere so she gets her shoes and brings our shoes to us. On days where she doesn't go to daycare she does not understand why. She loves going places. She points to her jacket and then points to the door knob. Here is a picture of my precious, beautiful little girl this morning, before daycare. I felt like I was taking a picture of her first day of school. Ben bought her this pair of shoes from his job. She LOVES them. I don't mean loves them like she does every other pair of shoes ever to walk to earth, but I mean really LOVES these. She knows they make more noise in the kitchen and the bathroom. Anyways, enough rambling of how cute my little girl is, but I couldn't help myself in letting everyone else know too.

Why she's standing like that, I have no idea?
Cute girl though, wouldn't ya say?
