Mother's Day 2010

My mother's day was absolutely, positively, the best.
I had breakfast in bed with our brand new breakfast tray. We hung out in the morning. We had lunch and then headed to Wheeler's Farm where we fed the ducks and walked around.
Ben even attempted to teach me to drive a stick shift. However, after stalling four different times during a left turn green arrow, we switched and that was that. I don't know why, but I'm terrible at driving a manual car.
For my mother's day dinner, Ben grilled pork chops, vegetables, mashed garlic mashed potatoes, and made his ever famous cheddar biscuits. For dessert, we had strawberry pie. It was a heavenly meal. I'm still feeling weighed down even today. Oh well, I guess those are the breaks of having a husband who can cook like none other.
I am a lucky girl and I had a great weekend - not working - spending it with my family.
